  GUERRILLA MARKETING - What is it? Guerrilla Marketing is a  low-costing advertising  method which uses  novel or unconventional methods  in order to advertise their brand. Over the years it has produced great exposure and  increased interest for brands,  yielding positive results. Guerrilla Marketing  was a term traced to  Guerrilla Warfare  which employs tactics to achieve the objective. It was first used by  Leo Burnetts  creative director  Jay Conrad Levinson  in his  book 'Geurrilla Marketing' (1984). Derives from Guerrilla Warfare   - U nconventional warfare  using different techniques from tactic strategies used by civilians.
